Materials:
- IKEA 365+ Bowl (choose the size that best fits your dog’s needs)
- IKEA STOLTHET Cutting Board
- Jigsaw
- Drill and Wood Drill Bit
- Sandpaper (120 and 220 grit)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Cutting Board
Lay the STOLTHET Cutting Board on a flat surface. Measure and mark the center of the cutting board. This will be the location where you’ll cut the hole for the IKEA 365+ Bowl.
Step 2: Trace the Bowl Outline
Place the IKEA 365+ Bowl upside down on the center mark you made on the cutting board. Trace around the bowl with a pencil. Make sure the traced line is slightly smaller than the bowl’s outer edge, as you want the bowl to sit securely in the hole.
Step 3: Cut the Hole
Carefully drill a pilot hole in the center of the traced circle. Then, use the jigsaw to cut out the traced circle carefully. Keep the saw blade just inside the traced line to ensure a snug fit for the bowl.
Step 4: Sand the Edges
Once you have cut the hole, use the 120-grit sandpaper to smooth any rough edges around the hole. Afterward, use the 220-grit sandpaper to give it a finer finish.
Step 5: Test the Fit
Place the IKEA 365+ Bowl into the hole you’ve created in the cutting board. It should fit snugly and rest securely within the hole.
Step 6: Enjoy Your Elevated Dog Bowl
Your elevated dog bowl is now complete! Fill the IKEA 365+ Bowl with your dog’s food or water and let them enjoy their new, stylish feeding station.

Creating an elevated dog bowl with the IKEA 365+ Bowl and STOLTHET Cutting Board is a simple and effective way to provide your dog with a more comfortable feeding experience. You can create a functional and stylish solution for your furry friend with just a few tools and some creativity.
