To create this IKEA hack kids drawing table, you’ll need:
- IKEA Flisat table
- NEREBY pole (IKEA)
- MÅLA drawing paper roll (IKEA)
- Marker pen
- Screws and screwdriver
Steps to Follow
STEP 1: Mark the Pole
Measure the distance between the pole holders on the Flisat table and mark this length on your NEREBY pole.
STEP 2: Saw the Pole
Using a saw, carefully cut off the excess portion of the pole marked in the previous step.
STEP 3: File and Sand the Pole
File the cut end of the pole to smooth any rough edges. Sand the entire pole for a polished look.
STEP 4: Attach the Pole Holder
Using screws and a screwdriver, securely attach the pole holder to one of the table legs.
STEP 5: Install the Drawing Paper Roll
Slide the MÅLA drawing paper roll onto the NEREBY pole. Place the pole with the paper roll into the holder.
STEP 6: Prepare for Artistic Fun
Pull the paper roll across to the other side of the table. Add some pens or pencils, and your kids can start painting.
